When partnering with an African Public Health institute, our shared mission was to create a strategic plan aligning with their vision for a healthier target population through disease prevention and control. Our collaboration began by evaluating past strategies and identifying achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities. We developed a five-year strategic plan using these insights, including strategic goals, objectives, and critical interventions.

When the Country Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement partnered with us, they aimed to implement a robust Monitoring and Evaluation Framework to support their national strategy and implementation plan. We commenced by first revising and enhancing its national strategy and implementation plans.

Estrategia worked with an African continental body to rejuvenate and operationalize the continental body’s communications strategy, aligning it with industry best practices. Our engagement began with a comprehensive review of the communications strategy and the continental body’s 50-year vision plan. The insights from the review process formed the foundation for defining the medium-term strategic focus. Subsequently, we developed short-term proactive and reactive strategies to drive the efficient delivery of critical messages. In addition, we strengthened the communication department by carrying out a structured benchmarking of its core functions

Estrategia collaborated with a continental human rights court (under a World Bank Capacity Building Program) to revise its 4-year strategic framework to align with a four-pronged focus on strengthening judicial procedures, enhancing outreach & cooperation, building institutional capacity, and securing sustainable financing while harmonising the strategic plan within the broader continental vision plan.

Estrategia partnered with a continental development agency to enhance their annual strategic planning process and align it with their strategic goals. We reviewed and proposed changes to the process and provided facilitation support for strategic planning workshops with program leadership resulting in a streamlined and goal-focused strategic planning process for the body.

This engagement involved developing and implementing a “one government” communication strategy to ensure uniform and coherent messaging throughout the entire government. The strategy also coordinated communication efforts for priority projects. Further, it encompassed the review of delivery status for critical government projects and the development of national and regional communications playbooks and guides to support their operationalisation.
